Building the roadmap for inventing the batteries of the future - Vrije Universiteit Brussels

This workshop is intended to share with all stakeholders of the battery value chain in Europe the current status of the under-construction roadmap for long-term research and to give you a unique opportunity to directly provide your input for further enriching the roadmap.

After a general presentation positioning the Battery 2030+ initiative in the global European landscape, more specific exchanges will be organised on the main research areas that have already been defined to address the challenge of developing next-generation batteries:

  • Accelerated discovery and design of battery materials and interfaces
  • Smart sensing and self-healing functionalities
  • Manufacturability and recyclability
